Recycling is top of our list. We work with the fantastic William Wilberforce charity and recycle as much unwanted old furniture as we can – helping the environment as well as supporting a great charity.
We also work on keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum by using as many local suppliers as we can and encouraging our visitors to travel to us via the new overground train service at Imperial Wharf.
Sharing The Knowledge
As well as sharing our knowledge internally with our extensive mentoring programme, we also regularly work with colleges such as KLC. We want to help students get a true understanding of the industry and so offer work experience, inspirational talks and set projects for them to work on during their time at the college. We also work with charities such as Spear on their graduate programmes.
We dedicate a lot of time to working with charities, giving us all a greater sense of empathy and an appreciation of just how lucky we are and how easy it is to “give back”. Take a quick look at our charity page to see how many amazing charities we currently work with.
We regularly welcome a number of interns to our offices, offering experience across the company and not just in design. Recent interns have been involved with our marketing, admin and social media teams.
We understand how expensive it is to live and work in London, so not only do they gain fantastic experience “at the coal face” and enjoy being part of a wonderful working environment but they walk away with their expenses generously covered too. Our interns often end up staying with us a lot longer than originally planned because as we grow and expand we can often offer our hard working interns a job at the end of their time with us.
However you found us: press coverage, a friends recommendation or a show apartment, we’d like to think you will go away feeling a little inspired…
From the beginning to the very end – whether you are looking for a wonderful home, an exceptional experience from a team that cares, or even a job – we aim to make sure you won’t forget th2designs.
