Exclusive hillside retreat

Situated in the sought after rolling hills of the Andalucian countryside with views of the Mediterranean coastline, this exclusive, contemporary residence was commissioned by returning clients seeking a second home that would offer both luxury and tranquillity. While they had a strong vision for the property, they found it difficult to fully envisage how the individual elements would come together as a cohesive home. To bridge that gap, we created a bespoke visualisation of the interior architecture and furnishing scheme, these concept images allowed the clients to experience the design in its entirety before the process of build began.

Our studio is continually exploring how digital technology can enhance the design journey for our clients, and this project provided the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how immersive visual tools can bring clarity, confidence and excitement to the process.

Designed for family living and entertaining, the interior of this ultra luxury villa is built around a series of light-filled, interconnected spaces. A dramatic double-height living area forms the heart of the home, flowing seamlessly into an open-plan kitchen and dining space, all carefully positioned to frame uninterrupted views across the surrounding hills and towards the coastline beyond. The property embraces its landscape at every opportunity, creating a strong connection between indoors and out.

The home features four generous bedrooms, including an elegant principal suite complete with its own private terrace and pool. Elsewhere, a cosy cinema room offers a more intimate retreat, balancing the openness of the main living spaces with moments of comfort and escape. In addition, the villa also features an expansive pool, home spa, wine cellar and fully equipped gym.

Our interior scheme draws heavily from the colours, textures and natural beauty of the surrounding area. Warm, earthy tones and tactile materials create a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, while rustic influences sit comfortably alongside the clean lines of the contemporary architecture. Throughout the property, wooden sliding privacy screens introduce an additional layer of texture and materiality, filtering natural light whilst creating a sense of depth and atmosphere.
