Situated on one of Notting Hill’s beautiful tree-lined streets, this impressive 7,000 sq ft double-fronted townhouse was reimagined for returning clients as a contemporary six-bedroom family home.

Having collaborated on several previous projects, we had a deep understanding of our clients’ lifestyle, aesthetic and aspirations. Working closely alongside their architect, we transformed the once dark and dated interiors into light-filled, open spaces designed for modern family living.

A striking new staircase forms the architectural heart of the home, elegantly connecting all four storeys and creating a strong sense of flow throughout. To the rear, a contemporary glass and brick extension opens the kitchen and family dining space onto beautifully landscaped gardens, blurring the boundaries between inside and out. Nestled within the garden, a bespoke studio provides a peaceful and private workspace surrounded by greenery.

The private spaces are equally considered. A spacious principal suite, finished in calming moss-green tones, creates a tranquil retreat, while two playful bedrooms have been designed for the couple’s young daughters. A colourful yet refined playroom encourages creativity, and the lower ground floor accommodates a generous guest suite alongside a fully equipped gym.

A carefully curated palette of natural materials runs throughout the home, including warm honey-toned brick, beautifully detailed stone and refined brass finishes. These tactile elements are softened by an organic colour palette, creating interiors that feel both sophisticated and welcoming. The result is a timeless family home that balances elegant design with the practicalities of everyday living.
