When this long-standing rental scheme underwent a full-scale multi million pound modernisation in 2014 by leading property company London & Oriental, th2designs were delighted to be considered for the furnishing aspect of this ground-breaking PRS scheme.
Having initially pitched alongside 4 other design firms for just half the scheme, London & Oriental awarded th2designs the entire 64 apartments including two penthouses. Many would have been daunted at delivering such a large quantity into such a prestigious project, but this is one of th2designs specialities, and they ensure that this high volume comes hand in hand with exceptional quality and excellent value.
In a highly competitive pitch, th2designs had researched trends within the target tenant demographic and tailored their
designs to minimise the void rental period as much as well as creating an outstanding design impact for the launch. With a focus on outcome the team worked very closely with London & Oriental, as well as their chosen letting agents, JLL, to ensure their ideas for the interiors would enhance both the rental and marketing process.
Four distinctive themes were chosen, comprising of four seasonal colour palettes from Spring through to Winter, inspired by the Gingko tree planted in the heart of the development by the developer. th2designs mapped out apartment sizes, views and architectural finishes before allocating the schemes so that no two identical apartments sat next to each other.

Again, this point of difference added value of its own, with the furnishings and finishes blending seamlessly with the commanding backdrop of views over London and the striking architecture of the building designed by award winning Fletcher Priest Architects.
JLL have clear data to prove that when they show a well designed furnished apartment they can get more than a 25% uplift on rents as well as minimising void periods not only when the properties are launched but between tenants. Quality furniture not only “sells” a lifestyle to a potential tenant but also will stand the test of time.
