TIM PAGE CARPETS x th2 COLLABORATION
We are proud to announce our recent collaboration with Tim Page Carpets launched during Design Week 2023. The Th2 team are regularly seen diving into their showroom in Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour to find inspiration for our latest project. We always know there will be plenty to choose from and we are always greeted by a smiling face from their friendly, helpful and experienced team.
The Tim Page Carpets team recently gave us an opportunity we could not turn down - to take over their showroom and to design and display some new pieces for our furniture line, Th2 Studio that represented a blend of both company’s DNA.
We had recently fallen in love with a large natural jute rug supplied to us for our new studio space in Richmond and it was here that our Th2 senses started to tingle! We started playing with the idea of blending furniture with rugs, and soon we had the vision of two unique furniture pieces: The Nomad Coffee Table & The Mr Page’s Ottoman.
The Nomad Coffee Table takes inspiration from the amazing collection of natural rugs at the Tim Page showroom, and we felt that the colour and texture was too exciting for just the floor. We used one of our favourites, the Mahal rug, as the upholstery, which is handmade in the UK with a palette of aquas and greens making it a perfect mix for contemporary and classic interiors alike.
Mr Page’s Ottoman was inspired by the braided texture of Tim Page’s striking Claremont rug. This chunky woven, jute rug, which is handmade in the UK, adds a perfect layer of texture and natural calmness to any room, be it classic or contemporary. The Th2 design team collaborated with Tim Page Carpets to use this stunning rug as an upholstery fabric and Mr Page’s Ottoman was born.
If you are visiting the Tim Page Carpet showroom you will also see another new piece that we are very excited about. Our Simply Refined Console Table is currently sitting in the window, and we think you will agree that paired with Mr Page’s Ottoman it makes for a perfect marriage of textures. Our design team love to layer a room with texture, colour and pattern and designed this pared back console as a perfect foil for any room. It’s simple lines and “driftwood” make a perfect pairing with Mr Page’s Ottoman which is upholstered in natural Jute. Hand crafted in the UK this really is a heritage piece.
